These skin care myths are ruining your skin!

Myth

You don't need sunscreen when it's cloudy or when indoors.

Fact

Even on a cloudy day, the sun's UV rays reacher the earth's surface. So make sure you use sunscreen!

Myth

Natural/organic skincare is better for your skin.

Fact

Organic/natural products are not always chemical-free and are the ones that people are allergic to because they contain herbs and plants. Always look for what goes best for your skin

Myth

Don't apply moisturizer if you have oily skin.

Fact

You should always moisturize your skin, even if you have oily skin. It will not make your skin greasy and will help prevent acne.

Myth

The more you exfoliate, the better.

Fact

Be gentle to your skin and exfoliate only 2 to 3 times a week. Also, avoid big bass scrubs if you have a dry skin type.

Myth

Expensive skin care products and long skin care regimens are better.

Fact

There is no relation between the product's price to its effectiveness. Invest in products that suit your skin type. Multi-step layering can irritate your skin and some products are not meant to be applied together.
